MATERIALS DEFINE WHAT BECOMES.

Made from already exists.

Arianna Gallina is an independent slow fashion and upcycling studio.

Working with reclaimed denim, vintage garments and deadstock fabrics, the studio transforms existing materials into contemporary, limited-edition pieces.

Northing is produced. Everything is reworked.

Each design explores construction, contrast and form, where patchwork and visible seams define the silhouette.

Produced with a zero-waste approach and crafted in Italy, every piece is designed to extend the life of materials and challenge conventional production.

Arianna is the founder of her eponymous slow fashion and upcycling studio.

Her work is driven by a simple yet radical idea: that what already exists holds more value than what is newly produced.

The brand was born from a personal journey — shaped by sustainability studies, life experiences, and a growing awareness of the impact of the fashion industry. Through reworking vintage garments and deadstock materials, Arianna creates pieces that carry both past and future within them.

Each design is an exploration of contrast — structure and fluidity, function and expression — translated into gender-fluid silhouettes and limited editions.

Based in the UK and crafted in Italy, the studio reflects a commitment to conscious creation, where nothing is wasted and every piece has a purpose.

Our Approach

Production begins with what already exists.

Garments, denim and deadstock fabrics are sourced individually and selected for their structure, weight and durability.

Nothing is created from scratch — each piece evolves from something that came before.

Pattern cutting is developed to minimise waste, and every stage of construction is carried out in small quantities in Italy.

Because materials are limited, repetition is never exact.

Each garment belongs to a series, not a mass production run.

Materials

We work primarily with post-consumer garments and unused industrial fabrics.

These materials already carry energy, labour and history.

Reusing them extends their life cycle and reduces the need for new production.

Production Philosophy

Pieces are released only in the quantities allowed by the materials available.

This approach avoids overproduction and encourages long-term use.

Arianna Gallina focuses on creating fewer garments with greater permanence — designed to be worn repeatedly and evolve over time.

Position

The studio is based in the UK and the garments are crafted in Italy.

A Different Starting Point

We don’t begin with fabric.
We begin with what already exists.

Every piece carries a past, reworked into something new — not to replace, but to rethink the way we wear.

Arianna Gallina is not about more.
It’s about meaning. In a system driven by overproduction, we choose to work with what already exists — giving new value to materials that would otherwise be overlooked.
